Online Multiplayer

What's the online multiplayer like? Do you just visit islands and talk to people's villagers like in Animal Crossing?
Does anyone want to do some online multiplayer?

There is no "online multiplayer" the way you understand it, it's really more like co-op. You either start a new farm or load a pre-existing farm up and people can join as farm hands, who all share the farm and the money. But you can marry in co-op.

"Not gonna lie, but that sounds really awesome, tbh. It could be really cool to add that to the game, an Animal Crossing-type multiplayer. In response to your question, no, there's no "online multiplayer." It's more like a co-op type. But yeah, you can play with some friends and build a farm and do all that stuff you do in single-player.

TT-TT So in otherwords this game is useless to me, cause I have no friends to co-op x-x
I have it for my Switch (haven't played much yet) and thought hmm PC may be even better with online features, but alas... single player moop moment it is

Play it, you won't regret it. Playing it in single-player mode is awesome. I only have 270 hours and still haven't completed it, haha. It's one of those games that every player should have in their library.

Go to the Multiplayer forum and either ask to join someone's farm, or ask others to join yours. It doesn't take long to get a group together.
