Are the Mods I use considered cheating?

I have recently started consistently playing with mods on my main file. I am not sure if the mods I use are considered cheating. Here is a list :
DaisyNiko's Earthy Re-color
Visible Fish
UI Info Suite 2
Crewmate Junimos

1-I don't know what the visible fish mods exactly but i think that might be cheating
2-Stardew valley is a single player game so you can cheat all you want.
3-The amongus meme is dead.

There is actually a mod called CJB cheats, and many of us use it regularly. so play the way you want to.

Honestly dude, two of them are purely aesthetic so those can't be- but even the two you have that do something are both just quality of life. Don't worry so much and just enjoy the game, don't let people judge you for what makes the game more fun for you.

Why do you even care what other people might think about mods for your own gameplay? Chances are no one will even know about them unless you share the info lol. And no, none of them are cheating. Just play and have fun

It doesn't matter if you cheat with mids, it's legal and doesn't prevent you from getting achievements if that's what you are after.

I was guided by the wiki in order to facilitate my progress and make each season the most effective. I am a cheater who used someone else's knowledge, instead of learning the game on my own! What a shame! Come on, just play as you like and have fun, mods are probably very useful. I'm afraid to break my save before I get certain achievements, so I avoid mods.

The most important question here is: Who are you cheating against?

Do you just play for your own joy? Then there's noone you cheat against, since there's nobody, who has a disadvantage against you, because you're cheating. So just put as many mods into the game as you want.

Or are you competing against others, for example against your friends (for whatever challenge) or within a speedrun community? Then it depends, on what you and your friends decided on what is considered cheating and what not. For speedrunning there's usually a rule regarding this (either completely banning it or just allowing it in specific limits, like only visual stuff or whatever, in that case rather ask the people, who're moderating the games on the speedrun site)

lol, there is a mod that allows you to add a number code after your name, and every time a villager says your name, you get another of the items the code is for. But when you do so, you get some message from Concerned Ape about cheating some how. Like when I put in the code to get Fairy dust, the message is warning to the game police that there is a thief in the midst. Very funny. lol.
What code you ask??? heeheee. Ok I will tell you. Just add [872] after your name, including the square brackets.
