is there a mod to change the appearance of the night?

i don't like the super contrasty look of night time and would like to change it.

Night Light makes the night as bright as day, there is no inbetween and Dynamic Night Time just changes when the colors change.

only option I know are light rings or changing the brightness on your screen
or have a torch in your hand
