some stardew valley achievements won't unlock on steam?

hi all, so basically upon playing stardew i've unlocked the mother catch achievement (by catching 100 fish) and the D.I.Y. achievement (by crafting 15 items) however they haven't unlocked on steam. this is really strange for me as all my other achievements have unlocked on steam so far apart from these two. i tried to fix this problem with this post (https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/achievements-not-unlocking-on-steam-fix.112578/#:~:text=If%20the%20%22D.I.Y%22%20achievement%20isn,with%20the%20backups%20you%20made.) by deleting all the things in between achievements. after i thought these would unlock again after fishing and crafting a few more times, but it still hasn't worked. is it because i forgot to back up my save file initially? (i've backed it up now). for it to work would i have to fish 100 times again / craft 15 more items again? and is it only me experiencing this problem? please let me know your suggestions if you have any :)

I got "a complete colection" in-game twice: once in vanilla 1.4 and another in SMAPI 1.5 while I wasn't expecting to get it with SMAPI since I didn't bother to take the extra steps to enable steam overlay, steam still awarded me "master angler" and "mysthery of the stardrops", meaning the overlay is working and detecting my in-game achievements nonetheless.

I've seen several other people in the forums reporting other missing steam achievements, from the NPC friendship-related ones, to the crafting/fishing ones, so I decided to just ignore the achievements for the time being...
