Golden Walnut Frustration

PLEASE be kind! This is the first time I've posted here. As my title suggests, the Golden Walnuts have given me a major headache. I've re-checked all the listed locations and solved all the puzzles. I have NOT counted how many walnuts I've gotten from farming, fishing, or mining in the volcano. But I still think I should be closer than I am. I only have 43! I restored the hut, built the resort and shop, added the bird transportation thingy, opened up the digging site, etc., but I haven't even gotten the mailbox or volcano bridge. What in the heck am I missing?! Why is my number so low?!! Help!

Erm.. might be a good idea to edit to avoid spoilers. spoiler tags (without dots) [.spoiler] [./spoiler]

Also don't the upgrades you bought for walnuts add up to more than 43 walnuts?

Spoiler tags don't affect a thread's preview on the forum page.
Even with those tags, if someone hovers over the thread, the spoilers show anyways.

Also, if you want to show a visible tag, you can do that with the [noparse] [/noparse] tag.
Anything in between the noprase tag will not be executed, including a [spoiler] Spoiler tag[/spoiler].

Thank you, but as I mentioned in my original post, I've already re-checked all the locations.

Doesn't that one parrot give you a hint on what you're missing?

(I'm not sure, as I only recently unlocked the island)

Hey, I ASSUMED I still needed 100 for Qi's door, but I got in! Well, you know what they say about people who assume! Thank you.

copy %appdata%\StardewValley\Saves next go to https://mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-checkup/ press where it says choose file and paste what you copied next click on your save and press where it says your characters names then followed by a string of numbers click on the one that dosent say old and the end of it then scroll down to where its says golden walnuts and it will tell you were to find them

you need to have gathered that amount but not to have them still, the ones you spent still count :)
