Trying to Sell Fish

I right clicked on the shop and I ended up going into the shop. I right clicked on the fish I wanted to sell but nothing happened. My inventory bar was at the top of the screen. I tried right clicking on the shop outside and on the fish but still nothing happened. Did something change in how that is done? (I'm a new player.)

I guess I'll just use the shipping box for now.

Pierre doesn't accept fish. OP is trying to sell fish to a wrong store if it doesn't work.

Did you click on the counter to open up the shop menu? You need to be in the shop menu to sell your things.

Willy (or whatever merchant you're at) has to be standing behind the counter, then you need to click (or right-click, i forget which) on the icon for the register, that will open the store menu, from there, you can sell things that the store buys.

Willy buys things that are fish related. Fish, shells you find on the beach, etc.

He also sells various items at various times. As your (character) skill at fishing increases, his shop will carry more items. He carries fishing rods, bait, some food that'll buff your fishing skill, and various other things as your skill goes up.
