Slime Coop Needs same Perks as Other Barns....
The other barns have the ability to have auto feed and item collection but the collector device doesn't work in the slime house... WHY?!?! it's a coop/barn type building why can't it work. As for watering the slimes could automating that be done by putting a well near the building or something????
Also there needs to be a way to cull specific slimes, you can't take a sword to just one because they all clump up together, we need a slime tab like the one we have for the other animals and on that tab needs to be a choice to sell off that slime or slay that specific slime.

Does anyone else have interest in these changes/ additions?
Is there a better place to post this suggestion??

there are a few mods that change the slime hut.

As of 1.5, you can place sprinklers right next to a water trough and it'll water them every morning so you don't need to do this yourself. Regarding the blobs that allow you to collect slime, you can fence off a certain area to protect yourself from slimes while also placing flooring inside the fenced in area so those blobs will only spawn inside the safe area. :greenslime:
There's also the Slime Charmer ring.

I have that and do wear it, I just think the item collector should still collect in the barn and that there should be a way to deal with the slimes to sell them off like other creatures.
One question, since we are here. Is there anything else to get from the building besides the slime balls that the player can turn into eggs and a mineral you get some times?

Once you have a slime hutch built on your farm, there is a 1% chance that wild slimes will drop Slime Eggs[stardewvalleywiki.com] when slain. These can be hatched pretty much anywhere, including in town, which can be useful for setting up a purple slime farm as an easy source of iridium. You can also sell them for extra money if you don't need them. This is also the only way to obtain Tiger Slime Eggs, as the Slime Egg Press will never produce these. :slimetabby:

I totally forgotten about this... I think this is the main reason to invest in Slime Hutch, especially for Skull Cavern players. Since the drops can be buffed by Burglar's Ring and Monster Compendium.
