Is there a hard mode in this game to make the economics harder?

I played this game when it released but not since then, is there ways to increase the economic difficulty now?

when you start a new game there is an options menu where you can lower the sale price of all things by 25 50 or 75 percent.

I would consider Beach Farm as an alternative to hard mode. Even with just regular Sprinkler, it is already powerful enough to break the economic.

Ferngill Simple Economy maybe what you need. It forces you to optimize whatever profitable in the year and know when to sell.
