Mahogony seeds

Hello, So I got a mahogony seed from a slime drop and I was wondering how I can multiply them easily? the seed maker does not take seeds, is there a way I can get more seeds? I want to farm hardwood :)

Grow the tree (use tree fertiliser, ideally) and it will continue to drop mahogany seeds (just like the oak / acorns pine / cones do). It doesn't take too long. I keep 10 hardwood trees on the go and pretty much pick up new seeds every day and harvest the hardwood every so often.

Don't think you can.
There is 12 hardwood everyday in the forest west of Marny's ranch, you need an upgraded axe to get there.
Once on ginger island there is even more hardwood to get as mahogany trees can grow naturally there.

It can be obtained by shaking or chopping down a Mahogany Tree, using an Axe or Pickaxe to dig up a Mahogany Seed dropped by a fully grown Mahogany Tree on The Farm, chopping a Large Stump or a Large Log, inside of a Golden Coconut, or killing Slimes in the Secret Woods.

You're welcome. Could be they'll only grow on your farm with tree fertiliser (hence maybe the comment 'don't think you can' - you can!) but be sure to use the tree fertiliser - I hope you have the recipe for that in game by now as I'm not sure if you can buy tree fertiliser at Pierre's. It's simply placed over the seed, just like you would with crops. I plant 2 rows of 5 about 3 tiles apart. I have a sneaking suspicion that, if you don't have tree fertiliser, there's a chance the tree might not grow - that's OK once you have plenty of seeds (so some will grow, some maybe not) but not so great odds if you only have the one seed... I hope this makes sense! Good luck!

They'll grow on your farm without Tree Fertilizer, but compared to Oak, Pine, and Maple Trees, Mahogany trees grow significantly slower.

So you'll want to use Tree Fertilizer, absolutely. Unlike all other tree types (which will advance one growth stage every day with Tree Fertilizer), it's something like a 60% chance each day that a Fertilized Mahogany Seed grows to the next stage.

Go to the secret forest, enemies have a 10% chance to drop mahogany seeds
not the best odds ever but if you want the easiest consistent way to get seeds for free, do that

The easiest way is to farm every day from the enchanted forest, drops 12-15 hardwood every day and the slimes have a 10% chance for dropping more mahogany seeds, so you can get hardwood everyday and grow some hardwood trees on your farm also.

Before you know your farm will be infested with mahogany everywhere. As soon as you complete the hardwood request from Robin you'd better chop'em all. I did so and sowed them in the quarry area.

The railroad area is also good for a Mahogany farm.

Especially if one uses the mod that regenerates all the rocks in the quarry.
