Stuck on "Connecting to online services"

I have been reading every post about how to get Co-op working and off the "Connecting to online services." I have followed every solution that I could find. I made sure Steam and Stardew Valley were updated, I restarted my laptop, I restarted Steam, restarted Stardew valley, I uninstalled/reinstalled Steam and Stardew valley, i disabled my firewall, I'm connected to good wifi. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I am using a Macbook pro.

we had the same problem with my friend, game crashed all the time and we werent able to play with each other, we thought it was mods that we installed conflicting with each other, after trying to solve this and find what mod was problematic we just gave up and just stopped playing for couple of weeks, and now its all good, no mods causing problems no crashes and all we get is a ton of fun now, idk what was the problem it just solved itself by time

bro how its been happening for me for a couple months atleast at the start of february for me and its may and it hasnt fixed it self not once :((((((( btw im on mac so idk if its different if ur friend was on windows or what
