Click the - sign in the top right of the screen when you’re playing.

This doesn’t work, i’ve already got it set to 75% zoom (which is also what i normally play on)

Hi, I also play windows 10 and have had a similar issue. The issue could potentially be that you're changing the "UI scale" and not "Zoom scale". "UI scale" changes the size of your inventory while "zoom scale" is the size of your play screen (I hope that makes sense). "Zoom scale" can be found directly below "UI scale" in the in game options. "UI scale" also stops at 75% which could be a point of confusion. I would also highly recommended playing windowed as for me full screen is very buggy.

You could also potentially get a bigger monitor. Some universities/libraries/schools give away older but still usable monitors for free which could also improve your gaming experience without you having to spend money.

Another option that I haven't looked into but may help, is checking out mods to try and find a way to zoom out more than to 75% which it will otherwise be locked at.

Please let me know if this helps or if it still isn't working because then I can try and help find another solution :))

i appreciate the reply! however i play with both the UI and the zoom level of the game both lowered so it’s not that. i also don’t really have many resources near me to just get a bigger monitor. i’ve tried playing windowed but it just doesn’t fix anything. i also don’t have experience with modding and don’t have much space on my current pc to experiment with doing so. i’m just not sure why the game just changed overnight for me when i haven’t updated my pc or stardew (that i can tell)

well if you start modding you will want Infinite Zoom, thats the one I use because normal zoom makes me feel short-sighted in-game and I got enough of that RL wihtout glasses

installing mods itself is actually not that complicated, installing smapi can be but everything else is not

So, are you talking once you get into game you're really zoomed into the farm, or the title screen itself is way zoomed in and you can't see the buttons?

If you're on Win10 and only seeing a sharing tab and no compatibility, you're not in the right place. You need to right click on the executable file in file explorer. You can get there by going to your steam library here, right click, manage, browse local files.

If you are 100% sure the .exe file does not have a compatibility tab in properties, talk to whomever's computer you are using about your account's permissions, because that's your problem.
