My mods folder is gone

Hi there, I play on a Macbook and my mods folder has seemed to vanish into the unknown. When I run the game my mods are still on the game but the folder itself cannot be found to add/delete them. I have tried to search for the individual mods themselves but only some of the SVE mods come up and SMAPI but not jason assets or extra map layers ect and they were not attached to a mod folder. Im very confused as i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling SMAPI, and restarting my laptop. I don't want to lose any progress on my saves or disturb any gameplay but I wont be able to update/add/delete any mods without it. If anyone has had this problem I would appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks.
EXTRA: I do have 1.6 and was able to edit my mod folder after the release of the update.

Did you even check the other thread you made?

The Library folder is hidden unless you are holding down the Option key.

Library->Application Support->Steam->SteamApps->common->Stardew Valley->Contents->MacOS->Mods

I strongly suggest you manually backup your saves folder before adding or removing mods.

Users-><your user name>->.config->StardewValley->Saves
