Pierre's Blueberry Tarts

At 3 hearts he gives you his "TOP SECRET" recipe for his "famous blueberry tart" because you are "such good friends".

Only takes 3 hearts, so to me this means two things:

1. He is trying to get on your good side so he can get better deals and get more money from you.

2. Most everyone else in town also hates him, so 3 hearts is bff to him.

I think 1 is the most likely, but 2 would be pretty funny too.

Or 3, he's just running off of some generic script that CA wrote for each NPC regardless of how many hearts you have with them.

3 hearts is 3 hearts. 8 hearts is going out, 10 is marriage, 3's pretty high up on that scale. I mean its just a blueberry tart recipe. which is what blueberries, wheat and sugar?

I mean yeah you could say its high up, but what im saying is knowing Pierre, it might be some sort of way to get you to like him more rather than trying to genuinely be better friends. Also the fact it may not be so secret kinda adds on to that.

That's only for bachelors.

For non-bachelors, like Pierre, 10 hearts is "best friend" status.

So, 5-6 hearts would be "good friend" and I'd assume that 3 hearts is a "normal friend", someone you're on first name basis with, maybe know a thing or two about their lives, but certainly not "loan the guy $50 and expect to ever see it again" type of friend.

i could see both of them being true. i mean quite a few of the villagers work at joja-mart, so those villagers probably hate him since he's a competitor of theirs
