Fish Pond Doubt
I read now you can put legendary fish in ponds but here comes the problem, if I have my iridium collection, will they lose their rarity if I use the empty pond option? If I fish them out with a fishing rod, will they keep the iridium quality? Thanks!

just try and don't save the game if it doesn't work.

but it's reasonable to assume that it will be normal quality when fished back out, just like all other fish ponds.

I assume they are just like normal fish when being put into a Fish Pond so they will lose their quality in exchange for the ability to farm them consistently, so if you value your collection more than the gold you will earn then just keep the original fishes and try to get the Qui's quest ones.

It should lose the quality, as that is how it normally works.

However, farming infinite legend roe sounds quite fun

Well I think they belong to the fish tank then because I prefeer the quality of the fish more than the roe. It would be great a way of farming these original legendaries or at least a way of them giving birth to small ones in the fish tank. Many thanks for your help!

Well it does say there will only ever be the one legendary fish in the pond they don't reproduce. But they do make you roe which is worth a solid amount and over time would definitely be worth more than just selling the fish (even if you used the smoker on an iridium version).

I believe if you get Legend II fish you could do multiple copies? with multiple qi quests?

I'm going to try

From what I was seeing earlier multiple Qi fish ponds are entirely possible. After using golden graham crackers on the ponds they were averaging about 15k per day per pond from aged Legend II roe.
