Not Buying Rare Seeds during Spring and Summer 1, Year 1
Hello, Everyone; First Time Stardew Valley Player here.

Just when I thought I was getting the hang of this game, I realised I royally screwed up during Fall 1 Year 1, as I forgot to stop by the Travelling Cart during both Spring and Summer to buy Rare Seeds. This wasn't due to purposeful neglect, but rather due to feeling overwhelmed (first time player!) trying to earn enough gold and completing quests to help me in future seasons, ultimately forgetting to stop by the cart.
I feel like starting over, but have gone into Fall 1 with over 50,000g saved up, therefore feel so conflicted. I wasn't planning on planting the seeds Fall Year 1, waiting to unlock the greenhouse for that purpose, but knowing that I missed the chance to buy around 16 rare seeds during those missed months makes me want to scream (internally).
Is there any way for me to make up for lost time and be able to obtain Rare seeds during seasons where they aren't readily sold by the Travelling Cart? Is there any way to obtain the seeds, without relying on a minuscule percent of luck?

Why do you want to start over over such a small mistake though?

Playing through spring and summer again, just to end up at the exact same spot as you're now takes as long as simply keep playing through fall and winter to again get to the next spring season (the 100 % sell chance is not limited to Y1, if you think that).

And i really don't understand, where you can consider that "lost time", especially since you're asking, if you should throw away 30 hours of your life for something, that isn't that impactful to your playthrough anyway.

And one alternative, if you really want them in fall/winter for whatever reason, would be a cheat mod, where you could just give the seeds to you.

You didn't "royally screw up." My first playthrough I didn't even bother with rare seeds until I had the greenhouse, myself. Don't worry about it. If I recall correctly, you only need two for perfection, and there are plenty of other crops that are much more profitable, especially if you are an artisan. You're doing fine.

Min-max players when they missed a single item be like:
Seriously it's not that big of a deal, the Rare Seed literally take all season to grow and it main use is to get the Stardrop cause you can't even process it like other Fruits.

If you're feeling bad about missing out on "big gem berry money" don't.

Gem berries take up a small amount of space for the crop value, but the money you spend on the seeds sits around for a long time compared to other crops with the same seed to end value ratio. You're better off growing your wealth with the multi-harvest berries the first year.

Don't restart. Man I lost 10 cauliflowers that I had planted during spring, which is minimum 2k money lost during spring 1 of all seasons, I felt like restarting, because it was so annoying to think that the 2k could have gone to exponentially increase my money.

The thing is the more you restart, the less you enjoy what you've done. Like yeah I was salty for 1 day, but it's a game I play to relax.
If I restart over losing 2k early game, what will stop me from restarting, because I missed 1 ticket? Nothing, and then I'll never reach year 2 and quit, because I'm repeating too much and not experiencing anything new.

Try look in the hidden forest behind the magician tower. the path blocked by a fallen tree. Not sure if its in vanilla or from sve mod, but I find a rare seed there.
