Monster Slayer and challenges

Can I still complete the monster slayer goal if I have the Shrine of Challenge activated?

I believe so? Maybe one or two monsters might be unavailable, but I'm pretty sure they're just reskins of other monsters?

Like... The owls in floors 41-80 are the same thing as bats. They even drop bat wings, I think. The bouncing mushroom things are dust sprites.

I think some enemies, like squids and spiders, are new and don't fall under any category. But I think skeleton warlocks count as skeletons, and so on.

yes you can complete 2 quests at once in the mines, I do it all the time.

note: if you like doing lots of quests and challenges, there is a mod to set the bulletin board so you get new quests every day if you want, instead of only once a week. I have mine give me requests Mon, Tues, Thurs., and Sat. This keeps me busy all week, and also helps you earn more money too.
