Buying golden walnuts and perfection
My goal is to 100% the Steam achievements. In order to do this I need perfection. There's a bird on Ginger Island that sells all the rest of the golden walnuts, and it's not even that much money.
If I do this, will I be prevented from getting perfection? Or does it automatically count all the remaining golden walnuts as being found?

No, they are auto collected. pretty sure. the other tasks for perfection usually have achievements tied to them so you'll still need to do them

I'm wondering can you purchuse them and still discover them? Like having more above the cap?

From what I've seen no.

You just get an option to buy the remaining missing walnuts (10k each) so if you were missing 19 you'd pay 190.000.
After that you will get a cutscene when you go to sleep and see Morris with some money bags, kinda implying this is the Joja way of finding it so tsssk ... tskkk :D

which is better joja way or look up a guide on the wiki?

my last walnut was the one in the tree next to the parrot. on my first file my last walnut was the 3 for playing darts you have to visit the pirates cove on an even numbered day at night. and for some reason its now full of pirates.

Up to you, if you have the money and you don't want to spend the time finding them or even using the wiki then pay for it.

If not just find them with the hints in the game or use the wiki.
