Take my money!
Likewise, my girl wants to make a Stardew Valley farm with me, I can't wait for SteamOS and Social. both are essential to my interest in this game. More so Linux than Multiplayer imo.
Which is not Linux support, and is no guarantee it will continue to work, like Rocket League that after a update is not playable on Linux trough Wine.
But this game is just soo addictive!
Wtf stop spreading missinformations on all fronts.
a.) The user explained how to mount an iso , which is (to your suprise) still allowed to make from your legal copies and how to run it in wine.
b.) The only situation he even talked about torrents was the following part and he stated it's illegal (btw again not everywhere on the world and it's depending on your law) ->
And now to counter your stupid idea of linux user don't pay for games -> http://i.imgur.com/dErkv7K.png
646 Linux Games
Sidenote i have more because i use more than only steam.
Honestly i dunno what are you trying to say. I started using linux before i was forced to use windows because i basically had my first linux installation when i was still using MS DOS. Also you totally ignore that there isn't only windows available for x86 hardware. Just to give you a little education here are some more Operating Systems known to run on x86 hardware:
- Solaris (https://solaris.java.net/)
- BSD (https://www.freebsd.org/)
- OS2 (http://www.operating-system.org/betriebssystem/_english/bs-os2.htm)
- QNX (http://www.qnx.com/content/qnx/en/products/neutrino-rtos/neutrino-rtos.html)
- BeOS / Haiku (https://www.haiku-os.org/)
They all have fans and all this operating systems are useable some to more degree and some to less degree. So stop talking for me or any other linux user the way you did in your post, because hey you don't know me or my past usage of x86 hardware.
Sidenote PC=Personal Computer and in original it stands for any x86 (you could argue even 8088 cpu) architecture based hardware and not for an specific Operating System. The term PC was already around when i was using a schneider pc (guess the name -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC1512) with !!!! MS DOS !!!! << oh see no windows at all.
refers to
Do you "steal windows games in order to play them and pass it off as playing a demo with the worded option to buy it “if” you support the developer"?
Do not act like a child! Even you have admitted that you use Windows as well.
No need to teach me about operating systems.
Ah I didn't know about the purchase count thingy.
Considering that Wine defaults to Windows XP unless you change it in winecfg I think that's a logical conclusion.
Also wine exposes its version number to the application by default so I think Steam could collect wine information if they made some effort to. This setting is located in winecfg -> staging tab -> expose wine version to application radio button ...
