Is the mobile version more limited?
I like it because the interaction is faster, more practical. For example, you touch a rock and the character uses the pickaxe, then you touch a tree and he switches to axe and so on. I'm in Autumn now. But I don't see a few things I saw in the PC version, like moss on the trees. And seasonal fruits cannot be put in those barrels to become jelly. That sucks... Am I doing something wrong or the mobile version is indeed limited? I won't drop it, it saves me from boredom in waiting rooms. Just curious.

Mobile and console is still in 1.5, which is lacking all the new features and content updates 1.6 added such as the raffle ticket system, multiple pets and the Desert Festival. But the mobile version is the full, complete experience as it was in 1.5 and isn't just a watered down port that's missing many features from their PC or console equivalents.

ConcernedApe has every intention to port 1.6 to consoles and mobile at some point in the future, however. When these updates release for these platforms we still don't know yet. :corncob:

That explains a lot. I'm glad it'll be updated, even later. Thank you. :larawinks:

There are mods on PC to add most of the UI features from mobile. Mouse Move Mode is a little buggy atm though.

That's a cool mod. But I'm so used to the mobile version now. Well, maybe I'll return for the mods. I love mods, though I always say that the best games are those that don't need them, and Stardew Valley definitely doesn't. But it'll be hilarious to play with some.

The only thing that you can't do on mobile that you can on (most) everything else is play co-op. I will say, it took literally two years to update mobile to 1.5 after everything else was, so don't get too excited about that ugh. From my understanding the only reason it took so long was because ConcernedApe had to rewrite a bunch of code or something fundamental to the game to get the update going, so it hopefully shouldn't take as long this time (fingers crossed)

It really sucks that mobile doesn't have co-op. My niece wants to play with me and she can on mobile. Dammit.
