Stardew Valley is made by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone).
or maybe not... who knows.
His videos were fun for a while, but all he does is to use an exploit to spawn all kinds of nonsense into the game. No normal player is going to experience the same stuff.
and tons of people mod the game, so saying no normal player will experience anything like what he does probably isn't quite the case.
Check out Twitter, or the Twitter comments on the Stardew Valley Wiki, as CA is introducing split screen co-op. I also spotted quite a few new things in the screenshot.
why now though?
I might be reading into it too much, but who knows.
at the end of the year or at the beginning of 2021.
Me affter 300 houres of playtime :
part of the problem is the tendency of the game industry of delivering games that arent even finished many times and all the themes related at more or less scale , sometimes aprpiate and logic but others not so much that we coud point and chat about but id assume everybody knows em .. expl:Day one release 15 gb update and bug fixes + 20 blatantly cuted off and locked content scammy dlcs , 6 months later game still not really optimized, gamebreakin bugs but hey not our problem you already payed 60 or 120 with the x edition + all the dlc appart dummie so deal with it .That coud be one of the worst examples , ofc not all cases are even scammy ,free to plays for example has some part in that people are used to get a game with pushed content for 10 years , etc etc etc
Nowadays feels that some people belives that they arent paying for a made game but for a 1 time pay life suscription with free content
get some mods , if you want il copy paste from a post i did in a theme related topic recently on the sv forum as well just like i did with this piece .
Have a good time and stay safe out there
IS about the new update for Stardew Valley ;) Splitscreen co-op being the biggest news.
What should we make of all that? Update by the end of the weekend? :p
also say CA make a post on that video about white slimes about a week ago asking for slime-related suggestions for the 1.5 update... so idk if that means it's soon or not soon?
covid has probably delayed his timeline I imagine...
I mean, I just started playing the game again recently after a long break from before update 1.1... it's kwl that CA added mead.... still want to see yogurt... lots of things...
but in having just started playing again and looking up some videos on youtube about the newer content I notice nothing has happened in like 2-3 years and suddenly there's a hoohaa... along with the update by the end of the year"... so either everyone else is getting excited too or they've got an ear up on it.
