Stardew Valley

Statistiche:
Linus...
I'm sure this is silly, but do any of you feel slightly guilty when foraging fruit near Linus's tent? Ya know, because he lives off the land (mostly) and needs them to survive?

No. It's unclaimed and just sitting there. If he isn't going to get it, then perhaps I will. If I don't, whatever. Nobody owns it, so whoever gets to it first. What I don't pick up, he will, so he's fine.

Speed of hands or feet, problably. Or he cuts a makeshift lance from wood.

but we never see him do that.

Are you expecting him to share all his secrets with you? He fishes when you're not around.

Linus has no fishing rod and you never see him fishing, how does he catch fish?
He uses bait, so he probably does have a fishing rod. It's just hidden from view.

He probably fishes while no one is around so that noise from people doesn't spook the fish.
There is a time in Fall where he goes to the lake by his tent and there's times where he's behind a bush by his tent, so he's probably foraging by then.

I like to imagine those times he's getting food for himself, but I do like to bring him food as gifts to help him out.
Yes. And to me it feels even worse if I make him a gift out of it.. Even though he likes it very much
OK, this is too weird. I just accepted a quest from Linus on the store notice board that reads "Need smallmouth bass to eat in front of the TV" What?

Not guilty, no. But I feel slightly ridiculous picking up the forage that's right in front of him, 'gifting' it to him and getting the friendship for it
"Here you go mate, here's some trash I just picked up for ya"

Well you never know. I had a tiny AA battery powered pocket TV back in the 90s, that seems about right for Stardew's technology level. Walking out of the world to live on berries in the wilderness doesn't mean you have to miss that one show!
