Best way to get to the forge

I have tried multiple times to try to get through to the forge...any tips?? this is difficult! I keep running out of time and passing out at 2:00am....

Volcano dungeon floor layouts are only randomised at the end of every day. If you go into the volcano, memorise the floor layouts along the way, quit to the title screen and reload your save game, you'll find that the floor layouts will be exactly the same every time you enter. This means you can plan out the most efficient route to reach the volcano's summit for that day by using this simple trick.

Thank you. I already have the mini forge and anvil so I don't really NEED to go there, but I've never made it beyond the 5th floor (and that only once). I'd eventually like to get there one time to open the portal, even if I never use it again.

I dont even think the luck is needed as you are not depenadnt on ladder spawn - entry to next level is always there.

Everything feels better on a lucky day. Less fire sprites spawning, easier dungeon floors. Might just be placebo effect, but it can't hurt to try. The Volcano Dungeon is kind of annoying at first, so I always do everything possible to make sure I get through it in one try. xD

from the sound of it, it might be effected by daily luck, but not by lucky food.

if it's set before you eat the food it can't possibly be effected by it.
