Religious Aspects?
We pray to totems to "warp", I'm just concerned how Jesus Christ (Lord and Savior) factors in this game.

The pastafarianism is strong in this one.

It's interesting that you bring this up.

The whole Yoba thing seems to allude to Christianity... and then sometimes does not. I'm not exactly sure what ConcernedApe's stance is on religion, especially Christianity, but it's interesting to note that the rune he uses in the game to represent Yoba ("Ear", or ᛠ) was used by the Anglo-Saxon cult to represent Earth. which in turn also alludes to the god Tyr, the god of war in Norse mythology, who has been compared to the Roman god Mars.
This was all before the Anglo-Saxons were converted to Christianity by missionaries, of which many runes were either repurposed or discarded.

Now, in regards to Yoba and the mystic nature of the game, clues as to what Yoba is supposed to represent are revealed when reading one of the books in the library:

Before time there was only the endless golden light. The light called out to itself...'Yoba'. Yoba wanted more. Yoba swirled the golden light into a vortex. Yoba swirled and swirled until a hole formed in the eye of the vortex. From this hold sprung a seed. Yoba smoothed the golden light. Yoba smoothed and smoothed, and the light became soil. Into this soil, Yoba planted the seed. The seed sprouted, and behold! A vine sprung skyward, twisting and probing, casting a writhing shadow onto the golden void. After 11 days, the vine bore fruit. Yoba, with knowing wisdom, peeled the tough skin off the fruit and saw that the world was inside. And so that is how the world came to be.

I mean, it sounds like a couple of paragraphs from the book of Genesis, but all these references seem to point more to Wicca, or white magic, which is undoubtedly not Christian. While this is a fictional world, with its own lore and characters, you have to understand that many elements in Stardew Valley are inspired by real-world things, and it was also based off of Harvest Moon, a Japanese farm sim that more than likely has elements of various eastern religions (never played it, so I'm just presuming). That said, it's my personal belief that ConcernedApe wanted to be more politically correct by having a monotheistic religion that most anybody can relate to, in which you can pretty much draw your own conclusions on what it all means.

While I have my own gripes about the game, IMHO if you don't like how it works, it's very much moddable with SMAPI... just sayin'.

This game is basically anti religion. There is one tiny room in the local grocery store where people can worship. You can't declare your faith or pray or buy any cosmetics or house related stuff for yoba. It's very "keep your faith in the closet" type vibe which sounds like something you would enjoy there is no God or Jesus or Allah or Buddah in this game just Yoba and you aren't praying to warp totems you are consuming them

Regardless, Christ loves everyone no matter who you are.
We should strive to be Christ-like in a similar way. We love each other no matter who we are, what we believe, where we are from.

If anyone among you is suffering, you comfort them.
If they are struggling, you help uplift them.
If they are hungry, you feed them.

ETC ETC
You do all this without expectation of anything in return.

Also, do not hate.
Do not judge.
Do not belittle, admonish, or discriminate.

But be all agree, hail Odin. May your cup overfloweth, and your choices remain only slightly sketchy at best.

Considering the holidays celebrated during stardew include....not christmas feast of the winter star with not christmas gifts and not christmas trees.

it is either alluding to christianity, OR, alluding to the religion that christianity pirated the idea from, which I think was Mithras or saturnalia. a Roman gift giving holiday worshiping the god saturn.
