1.6.5 Crashing
So I updated my game and SMAPI but every time I try and save/ start a new day it crashes. I'm not sure if its something to do with the mods or the game files, Does anyone know? :(

I am in current version, and I have no such problem, but I do not have and have never had any mods.

So I am going to go out on a limb and say it's your mods.

They are probably not compatible with the current version.

yea bruh... you need to make sure all your mods and smapi are updated. I run tons of mods from the top collection and i went through a major update on most of my mods today to keep up with the times. And it works so.... there is your answer

run a SMAPI Parse log, it will show you what mods are causing errors in you game and need to be updated. A recent update pointed out that I had some old mods that were not updated, and I had to uninstall them to get the game running again.

I can say that I'm running into this issue as well, but I uninstalled ALL mods and it still wouldn't load the save.

I only use 3 mods, so I'm not an expert, but Time Speed and Universal Recolors (I don't want to fry my eyes) are working just fine, but Info Suite is malfunctioning since last update.

I mean it's generally not a good idea to remove mods in the middle of a save/playthrough, let alone all mods... It's no wonder your save file isn't working.

You might want to consider starting over unless you have a stable back up :brownchicken:

And yes, the OP's issue is most likely mod related. My guess is that there might be a conflict which causes the crash. The usual cause of this is incompatibility, which is why it is super important to READ before installing. You can't add, remove and mix however you want. Some mods should never be added in the middle of a save/playthrough or removed.

Please share your smapi log if you want further help.
