Need help on Ginger Island

What do I do? I did the cutscene with the kid, and as of yet, the only place I can explore is the volcano. Am I expected to just... finish the volcano? Or what else can I do here?

You explore the island and as you progress and get more golden walnuts you can unlock more of the island to explore and use.

There are enough golden walnuts you can find in the first area to be able to open the west part of the island. Then you can find enough to open the quarry bridge. Then you'll find enough to unlock the farm house and other things.

If you have trouble finding the golden walnuts, there are YouTube videos that show you where they all are.

If you talk to the parrot in Leo's house, you get tips and clues as to what to do as well.

Farming at ginger island is like an extension to your greenhouse. You can grow any crops out of season.
