Mod help
Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone would help me out. I have a mod on my PC stardew game that changes the appearance of an NPC, I believe that the vanilla game winter outfits doesn't work with this mod and was wondering if there was any type of way around the winter outfits ?

Hopefully that makes sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

first check to make sure the mod has been updated, and make sure you have SMAPI fully updated.
you should still get the winter outfits ,

first tysm for your reply. I think i didn't explain properly; I have the winter outfits but I wanna know if there is a way to get rid of it for one character cause it messes with the mod (unfortunately the mod has not been updated since 2023 :( )

Did anyone make unofficial mod so far that add new winter outifts as replacement?

If no then I think you should do the .xnb way of replacing game files with modded portrait. Theoretically, it still works unless it's hd portrait. Look up on stardew wiki about modding.

Alternatively, learn coding (actually just understand the content pack files like manifest one) and add the part for winter outfit.

You're still not explaining what you want to do. What is the mod you're using? What "doesn't work"? What do you want to get rid of? Vanilla winter outfit for one character? New sprites for the modded character?

My only solution for this issue is this portrait mode. https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/22282
The creater redrawed vanilla winter outfits in their style and it looks amazing!
