1.6.4 hotfix #1 fixes a few bugs in 1.6.4:
-Fixes issue when dropping a big chest into a small chest
-Quarry mine level can no longer be an alternate layout
-Prevents the player from running through barriers in certain transit cutscenes
-Mine levels 45 and 85 are now also refreshed at the beginning of the year
The update today was 1.6.4a. 1.6.4 was yesterday. Just because it got an update today doesn't make it .5 It was a hot fix only.
After quickly fixing a few issues with 1.6.4, we are now on 1.6.5.
This one fixes a rare crash that could happen in the mines.
It should also help with some people who use mods that were having trouble loading their saves after 1.6.4.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed crash when loading dark mine levels in some cases.
- Broken villager NPCs (usually due to a removed mod) are now deleted on load. They'll respawn when they're re-added to the data.
Thank you
-Ape
Just showed up for me now. Maybe it was delayed on some servers. I had even restarted Steam completely just to be sure. Though it appears to just be another hot fix so not sure why a version change this time.
-_-
Honestly probably just needs another SMAPI update since it looks like mostly fixes, but I'll probably wait a few days to be safe. That and give mod authors a chance to do their updates. Maybe by next weekend assuming we don't get more vanilla updates?
*edit* to be fair I'm more frustrated with the whole steam forces you to update thing more than the updates themselves. Updates themselves are a good thing.
