Big chest bug

Im having a problem, i accidentaly change a big chest with a stone chest and now i changed it to a big chest again but the size is still the same (Not big). And some of the items are gone.

Solved it, had to empty it, all the items where there but no visible, remove the chest and place it again. It was a visual bug.

This is happening with other chest too, changed a stone chest with a big stone chest and the chest inventory has the regular size. Emptyed, replaced it again and then it has the big size. Wasted all Monday morning with this...

At least you found a solution to the problem.

It happened to me as well, I had no problem placing big chests onto normal chests in 1.6.3.
Now I have to empty the normal chest first :<
