100 artichoke (s) in first year

I got quest for 100 artichoke in first year, but it is impossible to buy artichoke's seeds (first year, ofc). So... what to do??

Artichoke can be acquired before Year 2 through the use of Mixed Seeds. Artichokes can then be placed in a Seed Maker to produce Artichoke Seeds.

You can also get them with the use of mods otherwise some quests may be best to skip before accepting or let them fail.

I got exactly the same problem, being in fall year 1. Walked to Pierre's store and Jojo store just to find out its not there and wiki says it only becomes available on year 2.

The workaround for this would be:

• Reach level 9 in foraging (to get "seed maker" machine)
  
• Unlock Greenhouse or rush grandpa's shed rebuild if you're playing Stardew Valley Expanded mod
  
• Plant mixed seeds in greenhouse and check on them next day. If you get artichoke - grow them, place into seed maker, get tons of artichoke seeds.
