I just realized how amazing it would be if when you're pregnant and going through the 'stages' your character could grow a baby-belly to show for it and your spouse could ask to feel the baby and it could randomly 'kick' and they would comment on it... WITHOUT mods. Dunno if there is a mod like this, I play without them.

there is not that kind of mod but Diverse Stardew Valley with Seasonal Outfits has the option of round-bellied maternity sprites for female spouses. plus there's also Pregnancy and Birth Events which adds a new event when you or your spouse finds out that you're expecting a baby and a new event for a female farmer with you and your husband at the clinic together.

Personally, I would never, ever want to see something like this in the game -- but I also will never have my farmers have kids, especially biological ones, so it wouldn't affect me.

Yeah, it would not be taken particularly well.

It also absolutely would not be worth the amount of work and time it doubtless would require.
