Blue Grass
Wondering how useful it is on non-meadows farms.

You unlock the recipe fairly late (golden walnut room), at which point the increased friendship growth likely no longer matters, and if im reading the propagation info on the wiki right it on average yields less "feeding instances" than regular grass due to the considerably slower growth, meaning you'd need more protetcted grass patches to feed your animals with it.

Guess the main benefit is the double hay on harvest then? Or am i just missing smth.

I think it's just for the late game when you have a new baby animals or whichever has bad friendship. It can replace Auto Petters to a degree.

Quoted from wiki:
Animals eating Blue Grass gain twice as much friendship as from eating normal Grass (16 instead of 8).[2] If successfully cut with a Scythe, Blue Grass will produce two pieces of hay, instead of the usual one.[1]

Animals eat half the amount of tufts of Blue Grass compared to normal Grass (Coop animals 1 instead of 2 tufts, Barn animals 2 instead of 4 tufts).[3]

Blue Grass is not guaranteed to grow daily, resulting in a slower growth than normal grass.[4] (See Grass Propagation)

Frankly I found ti good boost at start with coop and barn setup (still kinda semi random if there is normal grass too, you do nto control what animals feed on..) but later it is kinda negligible.
