that means the controller is either broken or dirty
did it get sat on or get a drink spilled on it, maybe?
suggestion: offer friendly teenager food if they will come look at your controller and get it fixed
if you are 73 and have no friendly teenagers available call a community center that does elder stuff and say you are having a video game problem, they should know somebody that can help you
I know it's weird but 100% is going to be easier to fix if somebody who knows what they're looking at has it in their hands
Thank you for reaching out to this grandma, it's greatly appreciated.
basically, look for anything else that could be any sort of "button" attached to your computer that's getting pushed and making the computer confused about which directions it should be following
You're really welcome. The senior center is perfect -- they have teens volunteering there, and I imagine that 'help an Elder with a video game problem' is something that any kid would LOVE to be assigned to for a day. =)
