Garden Pots
OK, so I was thinking of maxing out my garden on Ginger Island entirely with beehives and garden pots with one particular flower in each. But from what I've read so far today in previous threads each garden pot has to be watered by hand every day? Sprinklers can't be used? Well, this bites!

Deluxe retaining soil makes it so you only have to water any plant once, including ones in garden pots.

Oh, cool, thanks for the info. :) Now I can completely rearrange my Ginger Island farm to be a bit more pretty.

Just a reminder that when placed in some areas on the ginger island farm (such as the southern beach) garden pots won't accept plants, but will consume fertilizers anyway.

To avoid wasting fertilizer I suggest putting down the garden pot, attempting to plant your seed, then using the fertilizer once the plant is accepted.

you could also just water them the number of times they require to grow.

once grown they just stay there.

Thanks guys! I think I'll use the Deluxe Retaining Soil and move my beehives into nice little spaces around the garden pots and reposition my walkways in front of the cottage on Ginger Island. When I get around to it. LOL I'll just save those sprinklers to use elsewhere eventually.
