I know she's not there on tuesdays cuz she's over working out with the girls... but why is she not there on monday? why is she not there on thursday? why is she not there literally every time I go do buy a duck and then I don't have time to get up to robin to upgrade my house because I went to try to buy a duck for the 15th duckin time!!

just a little annoyed.

and the book is hardly useful, I have my animals by the time it's available not to mention ample extra time to check for marnie every day if need be

Because the wiki is not always accurate with NPC schedules.

Marnie is a farmer, sometimes she is in her cheesemaking building or tending to the garden ect.
So if you want to be sure she is at her shop, visit her from thursday to sunday before 4 pm.

I try, but half the time she's standing at the microwave stuffing her face and the other half she's just gone...

You also want to catch her in the morning, especially after 8am from Thursday to Sunday.

Just like Willy being absent on Saturday.

my reasoning being
1. marnies schedule is clearly far more ridiculous than pretty much any other NPC in the game
2. seemingly the top reason people dislike this game is because they can't marry various NPCs as opposed to the numerous legitimate criticisms such as the person who sells the animals just not being there about 70% of the time.
