-open any windows folder, go to the URL bar and type %appdata%
-click StardewValley and open "Saves"
-copy the save folder that matches your farm name and back it up somewhere
-open the folder and delete the file that is your farm name + numbers
-rename the file that is the same but has _old at the end and remove _old
-you will now be on the previous day
you might need to do the same thing with savegameinfo, but I've never bothered and it works fine with just the farm name files but it might be corrupted too, but maybe try doing nothing with it unless its still broken solely because IDK what this file actually does.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\save-backups
it could be the game didnt save completely because your pc died, you may have to load a previous save and go back a day , replay the day you lost.
okay so i did this- still nothing.
how do i access this?
it will be .rar files that have every save you have and you can pick older saves if both recent saves got corrupted, sort by date and try one the next most recent save
the game still uses the %appdata% location to read saves thou
Your Save files, should include a save, and a second file with the "_old" suffix. The second one (with the "_old" suffix) should be a backup that's one day behind the main save.
Locate your save folder. >>>Make a manual back up of the entire folder.<<<. Do that first, before trying anything else.
Then delete your main Save file, and duplicate your _old file and remove the suffix, then try relaunching your game.
You might need to turn the Steam cloud save off temporarily to get the whole thing to work.
