My Stardew Vallew Expanded mod won't work, please help.
Why my SVE won't work? I have the latest version of SMAPI and the Mod, didn't got any mod but the Expansion, and yet i still have the error in yellow in my SMAPI saying "Did you remove a custom NPC mod?" with i didn't, i added everything i needed and i was used to play this a few months ago with no problems.
Also, i have the unoficial updates for PyTK and TMXL.
I can´t make anything work either, like East Scarp or other mods.

I need the link to your log that you put into the smapi log site. It contains more information and allows me to filter your log.

Otherwise please make sure to delete every SVE related mods, that also means deleting it's dependency/required mods. Then reinstall everything again.

There is a possibility you accidentally unpacked a mod into another mod folder. Smapi can't load due to the folder structure being wrong. Hence deleting and then reinstalling everything There is also the possibility that you are using windows internal archive program and it doesn't properly unpack the mod files. In that case you need a seperate archive prorgam.

7zip is what most modders use due to it being open-source, lightweight and free(really free, no bloat or adware).

Oh thanks! I'll try using 7zip for now after fully deleting everything , and im really sorry about the weird hours between my answers, im in another country and i work a 10 hour job, so i can't keep checking Steam during the day as much as i'd like.

The log says you haven't installed any mod. Did you reinstall the SVE mods?

you have 0 mods installed. All you have is SMAPI, and no mods. If you downloaded the SVE, then you didnt unzip it properly and extract it into the mod folder.
Follow the detailed instructions on the wiki page.

I would suggest you delete everything and start fresh. download and run the version of SMAPI for your system. Then download and extract to the mod folder SVE. Once you have done that and can see SVE in the mod folder, then do the same for the other mods requited by SVE, Thats it, dont install anything else at first.

Run the SMAPI modded version of the game and set up your farm, play for a few day and save. Once you are used to SVE farm, and want to add more mods, do it only a few at a time, Dont over load your game with too many mods, as many of them are out of day and have not been updated since that last SMAPI update.

on reading more of the log, it does say you have 3 mods installed, but there is no mention of the SVE mod. What mods are showing in the mod folder? Its hard to tell which 3 mods it is seeing from the log. But you have a tonne of error messages so there are problems with what ever you have, but SVE is not listed as installed. There should be a list of the mods you have if they were installed correctly.

On top of that , there are 10 other mods required along with SVE, and since the log says you only have 3, that means you did not even have half of the requirements for it to run properly. Male sure you download and EXTRACT all of them into the mod folder.

these are all the requirements you need with SVE
Content Patcher (Framework Mod) This is what most of the mod is written for.
Custom NPC Exclusions (Framework Mod) Prevents certain NPC actions.
Expanded Preconditions Utility (Framework Mod) Required for Json Assets to function.
Extra Map Layers (Framework Mod) Allows extra layers to be drawn on maps.
Farm Type Manager (FTM) (Framework Mod) This mod allows custom forage, debris, and monsters to function.
Json Assets (Framework Mod) Allows the addition of new weapons, fish, and objects.
SAAT - Audio API and Toolkit (Framework Mod) Allows new audio to be added to the game.
Shop Tile Framework (Framework Mod) Allows custom shops to function.
SMAPI - Stardew Modding API (Framework Mod) SMAPI is required for any of this to work.
SpaceCore (Framework Mod) Allows Json Assets to function correctly.

So those 3 mods are actually from SMAPI, like created by SMAPI= ErrorHandler, ConsoleCommands and SaveBackup. I literally did as you guys said, i got rid of everything, SMAPI too, downloaded everything again one by one extracting the files using 7zip, made sure they were all on the Mod folder, right now for me all of the Mods required for SVE are there and unziped, so im very confused.
And honestly im kinda giving up cause now i feeling so stupid trying to make this work.

I did the properties thing, the text is there, the SMAPI didn't gave me an desk top icon, but when the game starts, SMAPI loads normally and do it's thing. I'll try to look for the icon though.

Glad I was able to help, it was my son who taught me the basics, and I learned from there. Dont worry about the icon, I always just load from Steam anyway.
Have fun with the game. I am on my forth or fifth play thru and each one has been different, At one point I had over 300 mods installed and had a huge map to explore and over 100 npc's to interact with, as well and married to 21 spouses at once and had 23 children in the house. It was way too much of course but it kept me busy in the game.

what kind of system are you running the game on? Do you have enough RAM to handle it??
Try re-running the SMAPI log to see what errors it shows.
