just google stardew nexus and it should pop up.

nr1 quality of life mod i recommend is UI info suite 2. (ironically i think that one isn't on nexus though https://github.com/Annosz/UIInfoSuite2/ )

for the rest it really depends on what specific qol you are looking for. you can get everything from highlighting idle machines to easier ways to eat food or swap rings.

I personally preffer ModDrop over Nexus for downloading, but that's just me.

as for QoL mod suggestions:
> chests anywhere (saves a LOT of time and gold)
> automate (no need to spend all day loading a hundred kegs or furnaces)
> fishing nets (if you hate fishing)
> better crafting (easier to keep track of uncrafted recipes, allows uncrafing if you edit settings)
> lookup anything (allows you to check NPC tastes, crop status, what an item can be used for, etc. or UI info suite 2, if you also want to know where an NPC currently is)
> waterproof items (have you ever watched that one rare artifact fall in the water because it spawned too close to it? NEVER AGAIN!)

not sure if/when extended reach will be updated to 1.6, but that one allows you to talk to/gift NPCs hidden in their rooms before you gain access to said rooms, provided the place is in a screen you can access (plus you don't need to open 2 doors to say hi to harvey.) as well as harvest far away forage and shake trees from a distance, so may be worth keeping an eye on that one mod.

I'd recommend getting the stardrop mod manager to help with the managing of mods. With it you could create presets for mod lists so you can play regular or expanded stardew valley without needing to move a ton of files around. You can find it on nexus mods

I hope to find a replacement for Nexus but I normally do a test before even thinking about it(unless it is a specialty site).
I check if it has Skyrim mods then do a search for nude. Then I see how much results it gives.
ModDrop gave no result for Skyrim nude mods.

Nexusmods is the best place to get mods.
QoL mods I'd recommend:

Same
+
Fastpetting to pet all your animals by pressing a key instead of petting them manually everyday.
Harvest with Scythe
NPC Mpa Locations to see where a NPC is at anytime instead of looking their schedule on the wiki to get them their Bday gift.
Gift Taste Helper, which tells you what people like as a gift, it can be considered as spoiler if you prefer trial and error...
Visible fish: let you see what kind of fish you can find in fishing areas.
Auto fish if you don't like the fishing mini game.
Tractor mod: to plant, harvest, cut trees, remove stones, water crops (customizable) and you can even use it as a weapon to roll over monsters if you want. You can chose to unlock it right away or to have to build a building first.

I recommend this site: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/trendingalltime/

I don't recommend using Vortex (their mod manager), though. Instead, I recommend manually adding the mods yourself; it's not hard to mod SDV, thankfully.

Here's a guide to get you started on modding SDV: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Player_Guide/Getting_Started

Nexus not only bans MODs that change rainbow flags to American flags in a game, but also the developers. They do the same with other MODs that offend the wrong snowflake somewhere. This is the main reason many do not recommend ever using Nexus.

The thing about that is that Nexus is the main place to go; there's just really not a lot of competition out there that has the number of mods that Nexus has. Well, okay, there is ModDrop, I suppose. I prefer the layout of Nexus, though, since it's what I am used to using.

Nexus website as the main place for mods. Disregard the controversies surrounding the website, it's the most populated place of Stardew mods. There are plenty alternatives, but not as much diversify as the former.

Use Stardrop manager or SMAPI for version checking. Vortex of Nexus should stay away from being used.

i gotta point out the fact most official mod sites bans those mods since it disrespects a group off people its not just nexus some off the biggest modding sites has some sort off rule against making mods that is just to disrespect certain groups off people
