Its an unfortunate wording on the their side.
I do agree the question is quite unnerving tho, then again each year you can attempt it 3 times and only clear the quiz once, plus its not even that major in impact
what annoys me more about that fest is that its currency is handled as a item stack(s) but doesnt carry over between years x.x
I'm not very good at getting eggs so I kind of need the 50 from the quiz if there is anything I want to buy. I accidentally missed the first day but if I had missed two days then I would be out of luck since eggs reset every year anyway. I did get lucky enough that Pierre was a vendor and selling eggs so I was able to buy his stack.
The wiki really should use "median" instead of "middle value" because the way I understood it was "the value (number of steps) physically in the middle slot", which is wrong.
