While I'm here, did 1.6 add a new way to farm Iridium Ore? Struggling there.

Traveling Merchant is probably still most consistent option in early game. Fishing treasure chests are less valid option now as treasure chest loot pool was expanded with various stuff.
Super Cucumbers are still kings of consistent Iridium ore grinding in late pre-Perfection game.
No new farming methods of which I'm aware of.
Panning was virtually buffed by increasing panned stuff quantity AND a chance for new panning spot appearance with panning tool upgrades - but as base chance to get Iridium ore with panning is quite low... it's still too damn unreliable.
