Other island seen while traveling by boat?

Can we get to that other island we see on the overview when travelling to Ginger Island? The one not far from Pelican Town to the right with a cave entrance on it.

Not that I am aware of. I have been wondering about it though...

Wouldn't surprise me if there is something horrible in that cave.

Well the most horrible thing would be to show us a possible new location we can easily get since we have access to a boat but NOT be able to access it...

That's not the only island we can't access though. There is another just at the side of Ginger Island, with a large dinosaur on it! Probably some eldritch kind of horror that was sealed there by the Wizard maybe... I always wanted to go there to find out what it is.

There must be a reason why we can't access the island with the cave either.

Who knows what's in there. Maybe best to leave it there...

there are mods that take you to other islands. but I havent checked them out.

I always thought it would be great to be able to build your own boat and explore the other Fern Islands and fish for Marlin etc. Maybe in a future update?
