I think I went in with around 50 or so. I also had fishing level 10, an iridium rod, and the dressed spinner. Not every trout caught will give you the prize tickets you need, so plan to be there a while. I also don't believe they carry over to the next day, so you have to start again, but it's only something like 8 the first day and 10 the second (I think).
They can also be traded between players.
"Golden Tags carry over from day to day and can be saved for subsequent years."
SquidFest on other hand has two different reward pools, for first and second day.
Good to know, thanks!
I recommend going for wild bait or challenge bait
The golden tag is being affected by catching number of fishes from 1 to 3, with each fish granting 33%, so 3 fishes are 99 percentage in one bait.
I told you. The lucky food does jack carp. Neither lucky day unless you count catching algae and trash. Golden tag is not affected by luck, it's by how many fishes in one catch using Wild Baits from Linus friendship and Challenge Baits. 1 fish is always 33%; 2 fishes in one catch have 66%; and 3 fishes mean 99%. It doesn't matter what quality it is.
Revisiting in year 2 and at that points you can farm spam the golden tags.
