Statue of Perfection Glitch Patched?

Has this been patched in 1.6 so you cant do the full inventory glitch?

The statue works correctly and gives you some iridium ore every day.

Some exploit was removed in the 1.6 patch

Yeah, the duplication exploit was patched. But oh wells, there are plenty of ways to get tons of iridium by now.

Deep dives in the skull cavern (usually around 40 floors down) can result in plenty of iridium nodes showing up, which can be easily destroyed with bombs. Purple slime farms are also a good way of getting plenty of iridium ore very quickly.

These are just two ways I've managed to easily obtain tons of iridium in almost no time at all.

How?

besides the obvious skull cavern runs;
- farming super cucumbers
- farming purple slimes
- panning somtimes
