And I am sure the message said it was an explosion, which is the meteorite message.
Yep. Behind the farmhouse, the two sheds, the coop, the greenhouse. I even chopped down all the groves of trees (then reloaded), checked out Grandpa's shrine area, and looked in the house in case it went through the roof.
I've been playing this game off and on since it released way back when, and I have always been able to find the meteorite.
Is it possible to have the message generate and not get a meteorite? Like it generated the message and then could not find a spot?
It is still in it's original location.
Be right back
"The event chooses a random 3x3 area on the Farm and checks if there's a 2x2 area within that contains no water, placed objects that block movement, buildings, resource clumps, or farm animals. If no such 2x2 area is found, the event does nothing."

It may have not found a spot.
That is my thought, too, although one would think that the phrase 'the event does nothing' would include not throwing that message.
Oh, well. I can't really complain because the first one dropped a Prismatic Shard, so my guy is rocking a Galaxy Sword pretty early in the game.
Thanks, everyone.
