Game locked by going back from and to Calico Desert

Lately I've unlocked the possibility to use the bus to go to the desert. But whenever I try and go there, the game just blocks all control out; I cannot pause, open the menu or even move. I haven't yet completed the mission of Qi, but I haven't also found a way to clear this bug...
Sometimes, the game let's me move, but when I go back to the Valley I get blocked again
Please help

Huh... I had this happen to me a couple of days ago. Weird thing is that it's my 1.5 version of the game (separate from Steam 1.6 install, since I like all my mods) and I've never had this problem before. Interesting that you got it as well. Really annoying as letting the timer run out to 2AM didn't work either, because my character was stuck in the bus and therefore couldn't fall asleep normally. Had to Alt+F4 out of the game.

Would love to know what caused it :/ I thought it was a mod (even though everything worked fine before), but if you're getting it even with an unmodded game, I don't know what's up.

So you are trying to run this on a 32-bit operating system?

I have the 1.6v installed and it is my first time playing. I am having the same problem where my character leaves in the bus but the screen gets stuck at the bus stop and none of the keys work. Did you find a way to solve this issue?
