What are your fishing tips

bringing a chest to every major fishing spot and focus on large mouth bass bait when you get the bait maker you can fish up at least 30 a day on the low end and they are super easy to catch

You're right, the chest is a given, moreso now that the NPC's won't destroy then anymore. I tend to focus on Smoked Tuna or Flounder when is the right season, they need some fishing lvl and a good rod, but it's worthwile.

I tried flounder out with flounder bait but only caught 1 every 4 cast or so large mouth sell for the exact same amount and you can get one every cast :)

Early on, consider eating fish you've caught as your inventory starts to fill up in order to free up space and restore energy.

Second fishing spot in mines. Ice Pips are worth the trouble. 1500g apiece, if Iridium and with related Professions. No Chest needed as you won't be getting assorted trashe fishe on that spot.
