I'm starting to think I got a seed without dragon tooth in it >_>
I built a stingray fish pond for the same reason as you but it is a bad investment. Not only does it require 1 dragon tooth to accomodate more than 5 fish but the growth rate for those fish is low. And when they finally fill the pond - you can fill it with more fish later - the drop rate is still very slow. I think I get 1 dragon tooth per season.
The only somewhat reliable source I found was the volcano dungeon where you can find a dragon tooth on some levels lying in the middle of a dragon skeleton.
To do the volcano dungeon runs, choose days with very good luck, eat a spicy eel [you can buy it from the desert trader for 1 ruby each] and drink a triple shot espresso. Then change the settings of the game so you zoom out to the 75% value, now you can see more of the map so you can rush through the dungeon without too many mistakes. Ignore the enemies and just run. If you can find the new trinket staff that regularly shoots ice beams at your enemies that helps a ton.
Good luck.
I think I got a really cursed seed
