Skull key not working
I just got to the mines in the Desert, i didn't get the notification when unlocking the door that the skull key was used and just went straight through the door, meaning my quest to "discover the purpose of the skull key" won't go away.
(yes i got it by going to the bottom of the mines)

Is this a new bug?

The key is also for the Junimo Kart machine at the saloon, maybe it was added as a required interaction as well?

I used that too. :/ neither came up with a prompt that I was actually using the skull key.
I wonder if it's because the desert festival was going on the two days I went in the skull caves?

Did you go on a festival day? It's already unlocked on those days, if so and you would need to go actually unlock it after the desert festival is done.

Yeah, by sheer coincidence the day I fixed the bus and first day I went was the first day of the festival, never even thought about it. lol. Saved the day after the festival now so will test toda, but I assume that was the issue.
