Prismatic Jelly?

Any tip for this one? Several weeks I took this quest again and again and no luck..

Do I understand proeprly at each mine reset it select one of slime on any of 120 floor for this? Or there is at least some pattern?

At edge case I can maybe go through all floors at once with excessive usage of bombs and staircases but I would like to eveade that at stage I am..

I've never found any of the things you're supposed to slay on a floor that can be entered freely... it's almost always on a floor directly before one for me. (34,39,44,49, ect)

yeah going to floor 0 will always reset but if you go from say 50 to 45 it will be the same set of floors

I just had this quest today. First few days no luck finding any. Then I had an early start and worked down from the first ice level. Got very lucky and found a monster infestation, sure enough the prismatic was hiding out there!

The quest for prismatic jelly is what gives you monster musk unfortunately!

For anyone else that may see this and needing help, use the elevator to floor 5. look if not then leave and go to floor 5 again. This works because of the 5th floor rule, floor 5 specifically can only spawn slimes, blue bugs, and rock crabs with a bias towards slimes. Took me about 15 minutes until the slime spawned, but with the low % chance it could take a while!

The plans are, there are additional ways to get your hands on some musk as of 1.6.
