Whole fall without rain???
I am on a brand new save and trying to finish Community Center in first year, just as a side goal. Everything was going well until I realised I was already on 21st of fall and it hadn't rained once in fall! I was waiting for rain every day because of a walleye, but no rain ever came. I am now on 26th of fall and my only option is that 28th is the rainy day. I can easily finish the rest of Community Center, but I NEED WALLEYE. Is this even possible? Have I accidentally skipped a rainy day?? Or am I just that unlucky.

If I won't be able to catch a walleye do you think I should just use item ID glitch to get it?

Rain doesn't NORMALLY happen in Winter, but, if you use a Rain Totem it will, and Walleye can indeed be caught in Winter.

I suggest going to the Secret Woods daily to chop the stumps and just pray that the ~30 days you have left are enough XP. That'd be 4,500 and you need 5,000 for 9->10 so it should be if you also grab any forage laying around, too.

Also be sure to chop down every normal tree in the mountains and forest areas, too, as well as any unneeded trees on your farm.

rain is not entirely random generated, or rather, the random generator is based on your step count - so if you repeaded your walking route roughly every day, it is quite possible

you can find a walleye in the traveling cart occasionally.

is there a way to manipulate this into 100% of rain?

That depends on how much you can stand the stench of cheese.

Yes, TAS runs use step counts to force rain on every day where it's possible.

THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME, that is actually a good option, I just need 2 more foraging levels.

Pretty sure Walleye is on the drop list for pet loves you gifts (for cats anyway, not sure about dogs). Give pet pets, they might give you fish.

The odds of this happening before Fall of Year 2 are astronomically low. You'd probably sooner see rain in Fall of Year 2, or even Year 3, before a pet gave you a Walleye.

I'm in the middle of Summer Y2 on my save and I've never seen a Walleye. I've seen a Bullhead once, and two Chubs, along with a Duck Feather, and a couple other cheap random items, I forget what.

I had this happen too. Only rained once naturally in fall.
