No. You get it all for free from the Catalogs, so this would be exploitative.

I think the reason why furniture cannot be sold at all in this game is due to the catalogue allowing you to obtain pretty much any furniture you want for free. So by giving furniture items no sell value, this prevents players from using the catalogue to keep ordering free furniture and selling them to make easy money with zero effort.

Unwanted furniture can be thrown out, just not sold. Same goes for all wallpaper and flooring.
